Thanks to Malkin for keeping tabs on this story. Her post refers to a video showing the teacher in question and the student she was mocking. The child’s parents say that the teacher usually “messes around” like that. The video is a bit creepy; the same creepiness you feel when you see footage of POWs being used for propaganda.

I am livid after watching this.
The girl’s father is serving our country & this fat-ass racist thinks she is making her point by bullying a young girl who has the nerve to stand up for an obvious opposing stance in that class.
The young black kid could only say that he wanted a black president…this seems to be their only prerequisite.
If it had been my kids they would have arrested me for giving this teacher a dose of her own medicine.
It is any wonder I home school my kids…
Watch how race relations take an alarming spin in the days to come due to these attitudes coming out from blacks…and then the world will see who the real racist are.

This is completely wrong and they should not allow teachers to abuse children or wear political propaganda to school. There is zero tolerance for this in many organizations. You get fired end of story. Also, that can mess a child up as it is embarrasing and harassment as well as child abuse. The child will be messed up now and will need some professional help. I would sue the living crap out of the school system as well as the local government there.

This woman is a teacher? She is obviously not very intelligent and based on this short clip, I would not even hire her to clean the school toilets. I taught in an elementary school for 5 years. I cared for my students and was always careful not to break their spirit. At that age, if you say “100 years” a child can take it literally. The little girl was probably already worried and hurting if her daddy is away and it seems she was thinking her daddy would never come home after what the teacher said. This is a clear case of child abuse. A teacher holds a very important job because the students trust and therefore believe most of what that teacher says. This “teacher” has no place in a classroom.
Political differences aside, I truly believe that there is NO WAY a man as educated as Obama would condone this kind of teaching/indoctrination in the classroom. Why do some of your comments blame him for this stupid lady’s behaviour?
Interestingly enough, just this week I also experienced something similar with my child at her school on Wednesday, the day after the elections. We are in the middle of “taking care of the situation.” The difference is that in our case, my daughter’s teacher is white and she said that nobody was say the word “Obama” in her presence or on the property. I do not care who I voted for, no teacher has any right to bring her propaganda into the classroom! No teacher in the American school system will forbid my child to say the word “McCain” or the word “Obama.”
I am home schooling my kids next year. Thank God I can afford it and I hold a teaching credential. I am keeping my children away from cheap low class, ignorant black racist militants like this imbecile on the video and creepy white supremacist idiot so called “teachers” as well!! It is clear to me that the woman in this video is just an idiot and it is not because she is black.
Some of your comments clearly indicate that you are just as ignorant and racist as she is. All you ignorant racists on either side, white or black, are part of the problem in this country. Learn to look at the character of an individual, not the ethnicity, color, religion, etc.

i can understand the need for politics in school, but this person shows just how politics shouldnt be. i wonder if the parents are planning to sue. this is a form of abuse and id sue. i could care less who is president, none of them ever follow through with everything they say anyway. so i dont care eather way.mc cain has his good points and obama has his. they both have faults. but you should never ridicule a child or anyone for that matter because of what you believe to be right.well thats my opinion anyway.

If nothing else I got a real education during this election. I got to see and hear what’s been going on inside black churches and now I have gotten a glimpse of what’s going on inside some of our classrooms and the quality of teachers in some of our schools. Its time to end every single government sponsored racist program we have starting tomorrow and we should apply pressure to rid ourselves of other blatantly racist activities. It sounds like “Scholar in Training” totally supports this sort of treatment in Government Schools. This is a perfect example of WHY our children should NOT be subjected to Government employees in Government schools. I will take an act of Congress to fire her bigoted butt. In a privately run school, she would be out the door already. We need vouchers so we can choose who teaches our children and what they teach them. NOTE: I’d love to see a disertation written by this ‘teacher’. My money is on the fact that she can’t properly word or punctuate a document.

As a former teacher for 7 years, this type of ‘low-room’ brow-beating behavior wouldnt be! I never would allow as I had not only respect for the kids for myself as well.

We were stationed at Ft.Bragg & FayettNAM for three years ‘96-’99. As a PTA member and volunteer mom I saw this blatant racism towards white kids at the McNair Elementary School by the music teacher and the PE coach. These women were military spouses of officers (reitred) who chose to use their classrooms for civil rights lectures. My daughters came home very upset. Such a lack of professionalism.My daughter was a minority at Albritton Middle school-more blacks than other race groups.. but she got along with the kids. One of her black english teachers had a serious issue but we chose to ignore it after speaking to other black, white, asian & hispanic teachers who loved my daughter. Color didn’t matter, that poor lady had a crappy attitude. That place was a mess. :The principal who was white did nothing– the school did nothing she retired the year I threatened to go to the school board with several parents of mixed backgrounds and ranks who had heard and seen enough. I was so glad to get out of FayetteNAM and move to Ft. Hood TX. Things are more balanced here. We have an excellent very diverse community but everyone gets along…Esp. during the election we had peace in our Community and lots of prayer for our Nation to heal.Thanks for letting me vent — I was physically sick seeing that clip–brought back some negative stuff. Thank you.

I would like to set this “teacher” straight on exactly who and what she is supporting. I would like to sit her down, look into her eyes and tell her that the very Democratic president and party that she is supporting believed that human slavery should be lawful in this country FOREVER. Not just 100 years, but for all of eternity. I would also like to inform and cure her ignorancy of exactly how the Republican party came to be and the very first Republican president, Abraham Lincoln was elected in direct opposition to human slavery and the Democratic party. Oh, plus Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was, indeed a Republican prior to his untimely death. Maybe then she would understand that the Iraq war, the Civil war, and other “senseless” wars may not make any sense to her now, but to some people they do. In my opinion, she has absolutely no buisness teaching anything to impressionable minds.

I’ve just read all 37 postings… and like 99% of you, I too am appalled by the actions of this so called Teacher. However I’m surprised, even though many of you agree she should be FIRED, no one said anything about her getting some of that CHANGE that Obama spoke about. Well let me be the first!! This Harris lady is going to get exactly what she voted for “CHANGE”. Because when the school has completed their investigation, she’s going to be looking for a new JOB, and that my friends is the kind of CHANGE I can appreciate…;o)
P.s. Don’t forget, Obama wants your elementary age children to learn Sex Education: Quote: Alan Keyes: [to Obama]: “You voted that sex education should begin in kindergarten but it would be “age appropriate sex education.” But you opposed putting internet filters in schools. It makes me wonder what exactly you think is age appropriate. Do you believe that in the 2nd grade we should be teaching from books like Heather Has Two Mommies”. Obama’s reply: “We have an existing law that mandates sex education in the schools and we want to make sure that it’s medically accurate and age appropriate”.

I am leaving the teaching profession for reasons like this. It confounds me how teachers are so liberal when they see what welfare does to a child, and how other children in school who have two parents and desire to learn must be held back because they are all forced to tolerate these neglected children. In NC, it is against the law to “level”, meaning that a fourth grader who can’t read cannot be placed in a classroom with others like him so that he can get the attention he needs. Rather, teachers are made to “differentiate” in the classroom and teach children who can read on a high school level and still help the children who can’t read and bring bullets to school to show their friends. It is a tremendous burden on a teacher and teachers complain about it and expect this nightmare to continue, but they still vote Democrat.
In CT I experienced the lure of the NEA-that is, why some teachers love them so much. The NEA is a free pass to mediocrity. If those teachers were asked for five minutes of extra of their time, they would race to the phone to call their union rep. You can be the worst teacher on the planet (something like this charmer in NC), but if you have tenure, you’d have to shoot a kid to be fired, and even then I bet it would take years of litigation while the teacher was on paid leave.
And I love what some of the others have pointed out-These kids spout the same propaganda for why they’d vote for that joke that will soon be sitting in the Oval Office of OUR HOUSE- um, he’s black, and “change”….
